Right, I see what you mean! So, a new message, as per request.

Yes, CCC Inc. started in 1967, but they are still going, so have a listen and let me know what you think.

The game you're talking about is called The Weakest Link, presented by Anne Robinson and it's one of those I never watch, because I don't like the acerbity of Ms Robinson. She enjoys insulting her guests, and making them look stupid. In one way it's very British, in another it's just offensive. It's kind of split the country in two, I would say: either you like it or you hate it. I'm among the latter!

There are other General Knowledge quizzes on BBC tv, like University Challenge and Mastermind. They are both really good. UC is with 4 students from 2 different Universities from around the country each round, while Mastermind has four contestants for each program. Each contestant gets 2 minutes of questions on a specialist subject of their own choosing, and then 2 minutes on General knowledge. The contestants in each case are treated with respect, which I like a lot better than Ms Robinson... have a look out for them, they are on BBC 2.

The Weakest Link! That's the name. So I think that Sascha is the name of the presentor of the Dutch version. I sometimes watch it, but I can't really understand what she's saying to the weakest links.. I just try to understand the questions, let alone try to answer them.
I'll look out for the other quizzes you mentioned. But I don't think we have BBC2 here.. I'll try and find some on the internet. Unless BBC World is the same as BBC2? But I don't think so.

I have to prepare dinner now, so see you next time.

Hey, you cook, do you? Do you like it? And what are your favourite recipes?

No, BBC 2 is not the same as BBC World. However, you should be able to get BBC 2 on the box in the Netherlands... You can't use BBC iPlayer in Holland, though. For some reason they don't like you watching their programs abroad. I think that has something to do with the fact that you don't pay for a UK tv license in other countries. :(

Enjoy dinner, both cooking and eating it.

Yes, I cook, but not that often. I'm not that good at it, either. Yesterday, I made macaroni with peanut sauce and vegetarian meatballs and cucumber salad.
I also really like baking cake with my little sister, because we always make brown and yellow dough and than we mix it and make faces and flowers and letters out of it.

Hmm.. I'll look for BBC2 again, maybe it's on some weird number like 70 or something. Because we have all channels up to number 35, and than we have a few more like 89 or 56. So maybe it's one of those. Or maybe we just don't have it.

The thing with the dough - or do you mean 'batter', which is "runny", while a dough is thick and can be kneaded - sounds like fun! When do you cut the faces and flowers out of it: after you've baked it or before?

It would be strange if you didn't have BBC 2, because that is one of the two national channels we have here, and most people can get that, even without a digi box or Sky... Good luck with the hunt!

Have you had time to look up CCC Inc. yet?
